The British Sign Language section of our website has a new addition – a BSL dictionary.

We worked with the British Deaf Association (Scotland) to create the video dictionary.

It features some of the most common words/phrases in the Children’s Hearings System.

We are keen to build on this and more words and phrases will be added shortly.

Sarah Wood, SCRA’s Inclusion and Diversity Manager said: “We are committed to making all our information more accessible. We have been working hard to enhance the information we have in British Sign Language and we also recently created a BSL walk through of a Children’s Hearings centre.

“If you have any suggestions about how we can make our information more accessible, please get in touch. It would be great to hear from you.”
