SCRA has been awarded Living Wage accreditation – this means that every member of staff in our organisation earns not just the minimum wage, but the Living Wage.

The Living Wage is an hourly rate set independently and updated annually, based on the cost living in the UK.

Neil Hunter, SCRA’s Principal Reporter/Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are pleased that we have become a Living Wage employer.

“Our staff are our greatest asset and we value their commitment to protecting the lives of vulnerable children and young people.”

Neil added: “Being a Living Wage employer enables SCRA to play a small part in helping reduce the impact of poverty in Scotland.”
