Post based in flexible location within SCRA offices in the Central Belt
This is an exciting opportunity for a young person to support the Digital Security and Governance Manager (DGSM) in the delivery of the cyber security and digital governance needs of SCRA, including risk and digital information asset management work with our Digital Team. This post will be based in a flexible location within SCRA offices in the Central Belt.
You will have the minimum National 5 qualification in English and Maths and have a good understanding of IT and can demonstrate a passion and interest in digital matters. You will demonstrate good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills with good customer service skills and a professional attitude.
You will complete a digital based SCQF Level 6 during your Apprenticeship – you will be fully supported by a college and given time during working hours to do this.
Good timekeeping, commitment to working with SCRA and learning new skills, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. You will be based in a flexible location within SCRA offices in the Central Belt, and although not a lot of travel is required for the post, we are a national organisation, so you must be able to, on occasion, travel independently as part of the job. You must also be able to get to and from work and college independently.
The post is for two years; however, there will be a six month probationary contract offered initially, and upon successful completion of that, you will be offered another eighteen month contract.
