Research reports
Recent years have seen ever increasing numbers of children being referred to the Children's Reporter. For some of these children, this was not an appropriate or effective response to their needs, as they did not need compulsory measures of supervision. Government and agencies involved in the Children's Hearings System recognised this and set up initiatives to help address this. SCRA is evaluating the impact of these initiatives on referrals to the Reporter.
