SCRA's Business Plan 2009/10 receives Ministerial approval

SCRA has produced its Business Plan for 2009/10 following approval by the Minister for Children and Early Years, Adam Ingram MSP on 9 April.
The Business Plan sets out the direction of SCRA over the next 12 months. It’s purpose is to:

- Set out SCRA’s strategic outcomes and key priorities to be delivered in 2009/10,
- Show how SCRA’s work aligns to the Scottish Government’s national outcomes; and
- Explain how SCRA will collaborate with partners to continue to improve outcomes for children and their families.
The priorities and activities within the Business Plan 2009/10 support the three core objectives set out in SCRA’s Corporate Plan 2008/11, which was published in October 2008:
- Service Delivery – driving improvements in practice quality and the management of our casework for children,
- Modernisation – transforming the way we deliver our service for children and families,
- Transition –transitioning SCRA to the new arrangements for the Children’s Hearings System.
