As part of changes to processes in relation to Non-disclosure, SCRA has produced new forms for partners to use, when making a Non-disclosure request to a Children’s Hearing.

When requesting an application of Non-disclosure, partners must complete the new forms specifying what information within the Hearing (or Pre-Hearing Panel) papers is to be withheld and the reason(s) why.

The new forms are available to download from our ‘Information for Professionals’ section of the website. The Non-disclosure Request Form – Form 3 – should be used to submit the Non-disclosure request, and the Full Details of Information Form – Form 4 – should contain the information to be withheld. The forms should be sent together to the appropriate SCRA team mailbox.

A guidance note to assist partners in completing both forms has been produced by SCRA and can be accessed here. Further information on Non-disclosure can be found in the good practice guide to Non-disclosure produced by the Children’s Hearings Improvement Partnership. It looks at areas such as Non-disclosure provisions, and responsibilities of report writers, the Children’s Reporter and involved agencies.
